EnviroServ Update

Dear Parents,

For the first time Enviroserv, Ecokids Recycling Programme will be doing collections of e-Waste.

Due to rapid technological advancements worldwide, there has been an increased amount of electronic waste produced.  It is estimated that approximately 50 million tons of e-waste are produced each year which often ends up in landfill sites.  In recent years there has been a drive towards recycling e-waste and extracting dangerous substances, such as lead, for proper disposal.  At EnviroServ they have started exploring these avenues to divert waste from landfill, and to reduce environmental contaminants.

You can now start collecting all your electronic matter and we will happily take it off your hands :)

We strive to keep our environment clean and try and make a difference at Ecokids.

Thank you to all our parents for the weekly recycling drop offs.

Love Anita and the Ecokids Staff
