• Nature and Ecology
Nature themes will be used to introduce children to the wonder of the natural world. From insects to the ocean; we will farm ants, collect specimens, grow mushrooms, watch eggs hatch and then raise the chicks. Teaching a healthy respect for plants and animals and what they mean to the world we live in.
Children will participate in cooking class where they will get to make and eat something delicious. Nutrition will be an important topic in cooking class. They will also come to appreciate the time and love taken to cook meals. They will be exposed to the science, maths and techniques of cooking; squash it, melt or freeze, sprinkle a little then pour half, then add 2 spoons and mix!
• Kiddie Yoga
Will be incorporated constantly into our daily routine in the form of stretching and relaxing but will also take place weekly in the form of kiddie yoga sessions. All sessions will revolve around a story that involves music and pictures. Yoga is a wonderful exercise for our pupils to take part in, it teaches them to breathe deeply, stretch, relax and focus on themselves. The children concentrate on the story and focus on their movements.
• Clay Cafe
Children are encouraged to create masterpieces of their own imaginations in the Clay Cafe workshops. Every child works according to their own creativity and expression. A simple piece of soft clay is a perfect match when a child is ready and as they squeeze a piece of soft clay, they are learning that their actions have consequences. It encourages more experimentation and as the child’s brain is taking shape along with the clay, it captivates their attention and fulfils the developmental needs of the child. Clay stimulates the child’s curiosity and intelligence, imagination, and creativity are fostered.
Extra Murals (not included in school fees)
Extra murals which are not included in school fees do not take place during school hours but directly after school on their allocated day. Parents are encouraged to spectate quietly but can also take advantage of the extra time and collect children promptly after their extra mural. Any children not collected on time will be taken to after care and after care fees will be charged at a daily rate.

For enthusiastic boys & girls from 18 months – 8 years, the aim of Little Kickers, is to use football as a fun forum to instil our growing squad with a little extra confidence, a sense of camaraderie; and some high action activity to develop strong, healthy bodies.
