Can you believe we have made it to the end of Term 1 already? Although it has been a long term, time seems to have flown! Clarissa and I feel that we have accomplished so much with the Curious Crew this first term and we are so proud of their growth! All of them are well and truly settled into the routine of being a Curious Crew member and we look forward to seeing what the second term brings!

We have officially moved from the warm weather of the first term to Autumn and now our Winter term. The cold is definitely here already! We spent the whole of Monday inside working on art, reading stories and staying warm. The children are all very excited about Easter and the Easter Bunny coming! We had so much fun digging through the big box of buttons to make our Easter cards and today you finally get to see what your sock was used for! The children are so excited about them and cannot wait to take them home! We are so chuffed with how they turned out and we really hope you enjoy them!

We hope that you have a wonderful holiday and take a much needed break with your little Curious Crew kiddo – they deserve it too!

Stay safe and stay warm. Have a wonderful blessed Easter if you celebrate it!  See you all next term!

Happy Holidays!

Wishing our EcoFamily a Happy and Blessed Easter Weekend!

Me and My Body

Me and My Body

he Crew discovered some fun facts, like how their fist is about the same size as their stomach or heart, and two fists together equal the size of their brain. We discussed the stomach and small intestines and the important roles they play. The Crew now knows that our lungs breathe in oxygen, which our organs and muscles need, and that the heart, a muscle itself, pumps blood throughout the body. They also learned that the brain controls everything—from moving our arms and legs to things we don’t even think about!

Travel and Holidays

As we approach the holidays it was very interesting to hear where all the Crew would like to go. There was Scotland, Cape Town, the Bird and Monkey Park, Durban, Kenya, South America, the Kruger, and a few kids want to go to Sun City. I think the Crew are more than ready for their December holidays.
