Happy Hoppers Highlights – This Week 🌈🫧 

What a fun-filled and busy week we had in our Happy Hopper class! 

This week we became health and hygiene heroes 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ We learnt how to take a bath, why brushing our teeth and hair is so important, and how to use the toilet hygienically. The children loved our pretend tooth-brushing activity where we brushed away sneaky germs and plaque, and we sang “This is the way we brush our teeth” with big smiles and wiggly bodies! 

We also worked on our fine motor skills, practising our cutting skills and strengthening our little fingers using rolled-up playdough. 

Our Hoppers were fascinated by our germ experiments 🧪✨ 

* In our first experiment, pepper “germs” floated on water. When soap touched the water, the germs quickly ran away — showing how powerful soap is! 

* In our second experiment, we used glitter as “germs.” As we touched our hands, faces, and legs, the glitter spread everywhere, helping the children see just how easily germs can travel and why handwashing is so important. 

In our learning time, we explored the letter C, sounding it out and going on a classroom hunt to find objects that start with C. 

We also focused on number 3 and learned all about the triangle 🔺. 

What a wonderful week of learning, singing, experimenting, and growing — our Happy Hoppers were absolute stars! 🌟💛

Theme Hygiene  

Theme song our song for the week is “wash, wash, wash your hands” we did all the actions whilst incorporating yoga poses 

Yoga song was “if you love yoga and you know it… (followed by a yoga pose) 

Poses today we practiced 🌳, ⛰️, warrior and child. 

Breath work lion, bunny, flower and balloon 🎈  

Ending off with relaxing quiet time and singing our good bye yoga song 🎵
