I have been working at EcoKids since 2018. I absolutely love being the Principal and a teacher at EcoBabes. I enjoy establishing a deep love and respect for the families who cross my path. My main focus at our Babes House is to create a caring environment where my babies can thrive and grow and reach their milestones.
When I’m not in the classroom enriching little minds I enjoy, sewing, reading, crafting and being creative.

I am a mom to a very busy and sporty 4 year old boy, who just fills my heart with joy.
Allowing a child to be their own person is something I truly believe is most important , and it’s our job as teachers to guide them along the way to becoming the best little people they can be.

I’ve been teaching and in the education game for over 20 years which has included owning my own business and patenting my own educational game. I have a huge passion for young learners and couldn’t see myself in any other profession. I truly believe teaching is a calling not just a job. Each year teaching brings an opportunity for growth and learning, not only for the children but for the teachers too. “As you grow so I grow with you.” With better understanding, a lot of patience and holding a space of love and nurturing, I watch these little people step into themselves. Sharing the most precious moments. Touching lives is my purpose! I have been teaching since 2011 and I’ve been a part of the EcoKids family since 2017. I’m also a wife and bonus mom to an amazing little guy. We are an active little family and can’t wait for our family to grow.

I’ve been privately tutoring and fostering a love for learning. I have completed a Higher Certificate in Counselling and Communication, but currently I’m completing a Bachelor’s of Education in Senior Phase and FET.
My mission is to create inclusive spaces where young minds feel not just educated, but truly valued. Education isn’t just my job; it’s my calling.

I have been with Eco-Kids since 2017 and it’s a great place to work , to a point where it doesn’t feel like work but being with family. I work at reception and I’m the first face you see when you arrive and there’s always a smile on it , I promise! I was born in Benoni on the 01st April 1991 and have lived in Daveyton my whole life.

Hello, I am Sheryl. I am a passionate, bubbly, dedicated and loving person. Children are an absolute passion of mine. I am honoured to be part of the EcoKids Preschool family. I have taught our Happy Hoppers, 3 – 4 years of age. Our years were filled with a lot of fun, laughter, learning and adventures. I am very grateful and excited for further personal growth in my new role as EcoKids Administration Manager and Teaching Support. I have a family of 1 human and 2 dogs.

My little boy, Leo, and I joined the EcoFamily in 2020. I have loved every second of being part of this wonderful team! I am the Marketing and Personal Relations manager for the EcoKids Group of schools and although I am not in the classrooms, interacting with all the children and getting to know their little personalities as well as their wonderful families is such a joy. I have a Teaching Diploma and my Honours in Psychology.
