This week our theme was Plants and Trees. During our theme discussions, we spoke about the many things we can make from trees. One idea that really stuck with the Bugs was paper—they reminded us throughout the week that paper comes from trees… hehe!
We also went on a lovely nature walk where we explored the different trees and plants around us. We spoke about the importance of using our gentle hands when interacting with plants, and the Bugs understood this beautifully.
This week, we worked on two special art pieces, both of which will be kept for our upcoming Art Expo… Shhhhh!
In addition, we practised some of our consent songs and fitted our costumes to ensure that all the Bugs were happy and comfortable—and they certainly were!
We hope all our Bugs enjoy their long holiday, and we look forward to seeing everyone again very soon.
