Welcome to the Playful Pups class of 2024!  Wow it’s been a very busy, but fun first week! We are looking forward to the year ahead. It’s always interesting to see how these little people grow and change within one year.

Please can we ask for you to label ALL belongings, as we are still busy getting to know all the bits and pieces.

Overall, we have had a great week getting to know each other and enjoying activities both inside and outside of the classroom. We painted a star because all of the Pups have truly been absolute stars this week!  We also did some fine motor activities, and matched our colours! We are so impressed with how well our Pups did on their first week back at school.

Next weeks theme: My Body.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Without a doubt, the biggest hit of the week was learning all about rockets and spaceships. Our little astronauts absolutely loved counting backwards from 10 before launching themselves into space with lots of enthusiastic “3…2…1…BLAST OFF!” There were rockets zooming all over the classroom and plenty of giggles as imaginations took flight.

Winter, Temperatures, Fire and Ice

Brrr… what a chilly week we’ve had! Our Winter Fire & Ice theme couldn’t have been more fitting as we chatted about the cold winter weather and why it’s so important to wrap up warm. We spoke about wearing beanies, gloves, scarves and warm jackets to keep our little bodies nice and cozy when we head outside.
