What a wonderful week we have had exploring our senses! We discussed all of our different senses and how important they are to us.

We asked questions like: When you wake up in the morning what are the first things you can See? Hear? Smell? Touch? Taste?

For our art activities we made binoculars from toilet paper rolls and painted them black. and then later on in the week we used our binoculars and went on a nature walk to see what we could see. This was a wonderful experience and it tied into our theme very well as we used all of our senses on our walk.

We also made a paper plate shaker out of a small paper plate. We folded it in half, put some bottle caps inside it and stapled it together.  On Wednesday the Pups had so much fun finger painting as a group. This was a very enjoyable free activity which the kiddies seemed to love.

Yoga class was a big hit again this week. The Pups just loved their time with Teacher Nicole.

As you can see, the Pups have had a very busy week working, playing and most importantly having fun! We can’t wait to see all the beautiful little Pups faces next week.

Have a lovely weekend!

See you on Monday.

Listening and Looking!

Our favourite time of the day was definitely story time.

Me and My Body

This week, we had so much fun with our “My Body” theme. We explored all the different body parts, and the Pups were awesome at pointing them out—everyone was so engaged! We also sang “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” (I’m sure you know that one too!). It was such a blast watching the little bodies move and groove!

Travel and Holidays

For art, the Pups had the opportunity to express their travel preferences by painting the outline of their chosen mode of transport—a train or an airplane. They added their own imaginative touches to the artwork and then had fun mimicking the sounds and movements of the vehicles. Their enthusiasm was contagious as they chugged like trains and soared like airplanes!
