Ss – Safety
This week at school, we’ve been all about safety, and it’s been such a joy sharing the experience with your amazing children. Here’s a closer look at what we’ve been up to:
We kicked off the week by revisiting our classroom rules. We discussed why it’s important not to run in the classroom or stand on chairs, emphasizing the need to keep our learning environment safe and fun for everyone.
Our road safety lessons were a hit! We took the children outside to practice crossing the street safely using the zebra crossing. They learned to look left and right for cars, and their excitement on their faces was truly heartwarming.
We then also learnt about the “stop, drop, and roll” technique. We made sure the Pups understood what to do in case of a fire emergency, all while keeping the lesson fun and exciting as well.
Our art activities were a highlight of the week. The children got to unleash their creativity by making handprint firemen, which turned out absolutely adorable! We also explored numbers through fun, hands-on activities.
And let’s not forget about the Art Expo surprises! While I can’t spill the beans just yet, just know that your little artists have been working hard creating something truly special.
Today, we had a blast with shaving cream and colours. Mixing red, orange, and yellow and made it look just like fire! The kids were completely in their element by this activity.
Looking ahead, our next adventure we will focus on “Me and My Family.” We’ll be exploring what makes each family special and celebrating the bonds that unite us all.
Please remember to label all belongings and send in a family photo for our discussions.
Warmest hugs!~
Stop, drop and roll into the weekend!
