The Pups had a lovely week watching the teachers entertain them with all sorts of different experiments.

We joined the Busy Bug class for an exciting experiment all about floating and sinking objects in a huge glass vase. The kids chose an object and the other learners had to guess if the object would float or sink. They were amazed that certain objects that looked heavy to them didn’t sink as they thought it would. Some of the looks on their little faces were amazing.

It’s not the easiest thing to do experiments with such small children but we tried to keep it very basic. We watched squishes grow. We used a balloon and rubbed it on their hair to show them about static electricity. Overall it was very cool to see the Pups try to understand what we were doing. Next week is going to be a short week so we also started working on our Easter art.

Please note there are still a number of clothing, shoes, blankets, bottles etc that are not labelled so please make an extra big effort to label ALL your child’s belongings.

Remember next week is a short 3 day week as we break up on Wednesday the 13th April.

Next weeks theme is: Autumn and Birds Migration and Easter

Have a wonderful weekend. See you all on Monday.

A real fave!

There were lots of little “ooooo’s” and “aaahhh’s” as the Pups watched their favourite experiment – the erupting volcano!
