Hello Moms and Dads!

I am extremely proud of each and every one of the Happy Hoppers! The concert was such a success and the little ones really danced their hearts out.

These two weeks we were learning all about Dinosaurs and Fossils! We started week one off, discussing fascinating dinosaurs. We spoke about what a dinosaur is, where it comes from, its diet and all the different types of amazing dinosaurs we get.

We started off our very exciting week, pouring water into a Ziploc bag with a dinosaurs inside. We put it in the freezer to see what would happen the next day. Once the dinos were frozen the children were so excited to crack and smash them open!

We had another fun activity where dinosaurs were hidden in the sand and the Hoppers had to search for them and dig them up.

We did two dinosaur art pieces which you will get to see at art expo! We did a free drawing of a dinosaur and the kiddos really tried their best.

An over all fun busy week of dinosaur fun!

For our second week we learnt all about dinosaur fossils. We discussed what a fossil is, what it looks like and where it comes from.

We had FunFit sports with coach Trevor which is always such a hit.

We did puzzles which is a very important life skill. We ended off a very exciting 2 weeks of dinosaur learning with a much needed yoga session.  

Yoga Day!  

This week we used our sense of touch to guess what was in our mystery bag.  

Each yogi got a chance to feel around in the bag, with their eyes closed, and select 1 item to squeeze, feel and shake. 

The yogis then had to describe the item:  textures, hard or soft, shapes, what it’s made of etc.
