Hello Moms and Dads!

This week we were learning all about weird and wonderful Space!

We started a very exciting week with discussing what Space is. The children did a fun activity called block mapping, where they had to build Lego on space picture outlines.

For one of our art activities our Hoppers used balloons and paint to make outlines of different planets.

On Tuesday we had Funfit sports with Coach Trevor and oh what fun they had! They played ten pin bowling against each other and then each had a turn to throw a tennis ball into a container.

On Wednesday the Hoppers had another exciting activity. They used their imagination and creativity and made their own space pictures and rockets. This was so wonderful to see!

For our gross motor activity we went outside and did an activity called planet jump. Different planets were drawn on the bike track and our Hoppers had to jump and hop from planet to planet.

On Friday we had wonderful show and tell and yay for yoga:

Hoppers got to experiment with some ice! They each got a chance to put a few drops of food colouring into water in an an ice tray. We waited for it to freeze and then each child got a chance to draw with their different colour ice.
