This week we learnt all about Trees, Plants, Paper and Wood.🌳🌴🌿 

 We spoke about the different kinds of trees and went on a nature walk, where the children observed leaves and explored the environment around them. They also placed paper against the bark of trees and drew over it to notice the patterns and textures. The children enjoyed feeling the different textures and collecting leaves, branches and bark. 

The children enjoyed a fun and engaging variety of activities linked to movement, nature, creativity, and language development, naming objects starting with a ‘t’. 

At FunFit Sports the Hoppers  jumped in and out of the hoops, and completed obstacle courses. We also did some stretching exercises, which helped develop coordination, balance, and body awareness.⚽ 

The Hoppers completed their birthday art which we are so excited to reveal.. 

We also got stuck into our Mother’s Day arts and crafts to spoil our Mommies.. 

We had our last yoga session for the term which was well needed! 

The children did a fantastic show and tell discussing everything around trees, paper and wood. 

We ended of this short week with Lua’s birthday ring, singing songs and enjoying yummy chocolate cupcakes! 🎂 

I am so grateful for all the love, support, and memories we shared this term. It has been such a wonderful journey, and I can’t wait to head into Term 2 with you all. Thank you for an amazing Term 1! 🌟
