This week our theme was Easter, and it was an absolute hit with all our little Bugs!

During ring time, we chatted about what colour the Easter Bunny is, hopped around like playful little bunnies, and learned about what bunnies love to eat. The Bugs had so much fun pretending and really brought the theme to life with their excitement.

For art, we had a very busy and creative week. The Bugs made a sweet little Easter card using bunny stencils on the front. We also created adorable bunnies using recycled materials by stuffing plastic bags with newspaper and tying cute ribbons around their necks and ears. It was so lovely to see their creations come together. To add to the fun, each Bug made their own bunny ears, which they proudly wore during our Easter hunt. The smiles on their faces were absolutely priceless, and they definitely mastered their bunny hops.

We also started working on our Mother’s Day art to get a head start for this very special occasion after the holidays.

During FunFit Sports, we continued practicing for Sports Day. The Bugs focused on shot put, running, and jumping, and they all did incredibly well. We are so proud of their effort and enthusiasm.

We also enjoyed a fun shape-matching activity. The Bugs lay calmly on the carpet with Teacher Nettie as they matched each shape to its correct shadow. It was a lovely, focused moment and a great way to build their recognition skills.

Wishing you all a very happy Easter weekend!

This week our theme was Plants and Trees. During our theme discussions, we spoke about the many things we can make from trees. One idea that really stuck with the Bugs was paper—they reminded us throughout the week that paper comes from trees… hehe!

This week our theme was My Pets, and I can proudly say that this was one of the best weeks yet for the little Bugs! We had so many special visitors – from doggies all the way to snakes! It was so lovely to see some of the Bugs overcome their fears and spend quality time with animals they are not usually familiar with. They all did incredibly well!
