This week our theme was Countries and Cultures, and oh, what a fun adventure it was! 🌎

We learnt about different countries around the world and explored a few different ways to say hello in different languages. For art, the Bugs painted a beautiful South African flag. They had to listen carefully and follow Teacher’s instructions by painting the correct colours in the right places, and they all did amazing!🎨

We also created our very own “Handprints Around the World”. Each handprint represented a different way of saying hello around the world, and the Bugs had so much fun creating them! 👋🌍

We spent some time revising our colours, numbers and shapes, while also practising our cutting and threading skills. Of course, we also had lots of fun playing with playdough and getting creative!

During music, we practised some of our favourite nursery rhymes and added a few new ones to our songs. The Bugs had an absolute blast singing and dancing along! 🎶

We also spent some time working on our Art Expo pieces, making sure everything is up to date and looking beautiful. It’s getting closer and we are sooooo excited! 🥳💫

For FunFit Sports, the Bugs enjoyed a fun round of cricket! 🏏 Everyone had such a blast and did an awesome job!

This week in Yoga, the Bugs went on a “Yoga Adventure Around the World”! 🌎🧘‍♀️

They visited all 7 continents and explored different yoga poses inspired by the animals they might find along the way. 🐨🐸🐳🐀🐘🐻‍❄️

We travelled across the Atlantic Ocean in a submarine, the Pacific Ocean in a sailboat, and the Indian Ocean on a jet ski! 🌊🚤

We ended our yoga adventure with some peaceful quiet time and breathwork, helping the Bugs relax and calm their bodies.

We wrapped up our busy week on Thursday with some exciting sensory play! The Bugs got to explore angel hair, computer keys and different flags. Watching those big, happy smiles on their faces was definitely the sweetest way to end our week! 🥰💖

What a wonderful week of learning, exploring and having fun together! 🌍✨

Have a lovely weekend!
